The tenth standard paper examination leak episode was fraught with tension all day Wednesday. Following the arrest of Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay, the police launched an investigation, and Warangal Commissioner of Police Ranganath held a press conference to reveal more details.
Bandi Sanjay was charged as A1 in this case, while Boora Prashanth, a former journalist, was charged as A2. But who exactly is this Prashanth? On numerous occasions, the BRS leaders circulated photos of Prashanth with Bandi Sanjay. Prashanth claimed on social media that he worked for ABVP and was involved in numerous initiatives.
However, BJP leaders retaliated by posting photos of Prashanth with MLA Vinay Bhaskar, minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao, and former GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan. The BJP leaders argued that Prashanth met our party leaders naturally while working as a journalist.
Prashanth spoke to 149 people in two hours after sharing the Hindi language question paper on WhatsApp, according to Warangal CP Ranganath at a press conference. The cops also obtained data from Prashanth’s phone and discovered that he spoke with Bandi Sanjay the day before the exam.
CP Ranganath also stated that Bandi Sanjay has hidden his phone and that the police are attempting to seize it because the police believe it contains vital information about the paper leak.
Nonetheless, the BJP claimed that this is a plot by BRS and Telangana CM KCR to divert attention away from the main issue. The BJP legal team, on the other hand, has filed a habeas corpus petition as well as a bail petition in the Telangana High Court.
