Salman Khan finally released the trailer for his much-anticipated film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, on Monday. The film, directed by Farhad Samji, is set to be released in theatres on Eid 2023. The trailer promises Salman Khan in his furious action avatar, but also hints at his soft side.
Salman Khan and his on-screen love interest Pooja Hedge have adorable chemistry in the film trailer. In order to protect his love and his family, he is seen thrashing baddies left, right, and centre. He says in one scene, ‘Yeh violence nahi, self defence hai (This is self defence).’
Overall, it appears to be a massy entertainer that will draw people to the theatre. Salman Khan is the trailer’s and, most likely, the film’s main attraction. It has a pan-Indian feel to it.
Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, and Vinali Bhatnagar also play important roles. So far, the film’s makers have released five songs: Bathukamma, Billi Billi, Naiyo Lagda, Jee Rahe The Hum, and Yentamma. Earlier in the day, Salman released a new poster in anticipation of the trailer’s release. Salman took to Instagram to share a poster of himself with the caption, “#KisiKaBhaiKisiKiJaan trailer out at 6pm.” The actor wore long hair and displayed his beast-avatar in the poster.
Salman had previously established his character through dynamic dialogue. Pooja Hegde asked him in the teaser video, “Waise aapka naam kya hai (what is your name)?” “Mera koi naam nahi hai, lekin main Bhaijaan naam se jana jata hun (I don’t have a name, but people call me Bhaijaan),” Salman replied. He was spotted fighting bad guys.
Kisi Ka Bhai is a Hindi film. Kisi Ki Jaan is described as a blend of action, family drama, and romance. Shehnaaz Gill and Palak Tiwari make their Bollywood debuts. Ram Charan will make a cameo appearance in the film song Yentamma. It is a Salman Khan Films production, with Salma Khan producing.
Tiger 3 will also be released this year, according to Salman. It will be directed by Maneesh Sharma and will be his second collaboration with Katrina Kaif after Bharat (2019). Salman was most recently seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, where he made a special cameo appearance as his iconic character, Tiger.
