How sticky is the opposition’s new Rahul glue against Modi, and why is Kejriwal being so abrasive?

Winning Karnataka is currently the most crucial thing for the Congress. Until May 10, everything else can wait. Up until then, democracy is not likely to change.

Who would have guessed that after Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification, Arvind Kejriwal would be among the first to praise him, forgetting that the Congress had applauded Manish Sisodia’s arrest? Or that a placated “Didi” would support Rahul when she consistently rejected the Congress’s offers? Or that Rahul would swear to stop criticising Veer Savarkar once the enraged Shiv Sena forgave him despite his repeated attacks on the icon? The leaders of the opposition have made tremendous strides towards building unity over the past week. They fear that they could all be eliminated, which makes them feel threatened. Without a doubt, the BJP will be concerned if the opposition remains together. But how robust is their brand-new glue?
