The summer film season began with the release of Dasara and is now set to peak this month, with a new and exciting film hitting theatres each week.
While it remains to be seen how successful these films will be once they are released, they have all generated a lot of buzz in advance of their debut.

Following the success of Waltair Veeraya and Dhamaka, all eyes are on this film, particularly in light of the positive response to its recently released trailer. In the third week, Sai Tej will appear in Virupaksha, a film written by Sukumar and directed by Karthik Dandu. Currently, there is no competition in this slot, though Ahimsa or Bedurulanka may release around the same time.
Finally, Mani Ratnam’s directorial Ponniyan Selvan-2, which has high expectations among Telugu audiences, will be released in the last week of April. In addition, the highly anticipated big-budget film Agent, directed by Surender Reddy and starring Akhil, is set to be released. Vaishnav Tej’s new film may also be released on the same date, though there has been no update on its status as of yet.
Which of these films will do well at the box office this month remains to be seen.
