Teaser from Annapoorani: Nayanthara is a food-loving Brahmin who secretly adores chicken

Nilesh Krishnaa is the director of Annapoorani. Krishnaa is the author, and Nayanthara plays the lead.

After starring in the critically acclaimed Bollywood film Jawan, Nayanthara is getting ready to return to the big screen. In the upcoming comedy-drama Annapoorani (the Goddess of Food), she will appear. During the holiday season, the first teaser for the movie was released.

Sri Rangam in Trichy is first seen in the teaser. In one of the Agraharams, a traditional Brahmin family stays in a tiny house. Nayanthara’s persona is finally presented as family members are seen preoccupied with their devotional responsibilities.

She can be observed deeply absorbed in a book about business and management. It turns out that she is, in fact, reading a recipe for a chicken dish that has been concealed inside the book. She looks gorgeous wearing a saree and a traditional outfit. She sees Renuka as her mother. S. Thaman’s rendition of MS Subbulakshmi’s Rangapura Vihara is heard repeatedly in the teaser.

Annapoorani also stars actors Jai, Sathyaraj, Achyuth Kumar, KS Ravikumar, Redin Kingsly, Kumari Sachu, Karthik Kumar, and Suresh Chakkaravarthy. Thaman S. wrote the soundtrack for the Nilesh Krishna-directed film.

Fans’ reactions to Annapoorani’s debut image

Many viewers have praised Nayanthara for the character in response to the teaser. They commented on YouTube, with one of them saying, “Those who said Nayanthara is overrated… see her versatility in her roles… she can fit into any kind of role with experimental storylines.” Another person chimed in, “Lady superstar back with a bang.” Nayanthara is not only acting, said another, “she is just living in that character.”

Zed Studios, Trident Arts, and Naad Studios support Annapoorani. Sathyan Sooryan handled the camera, and Praveen Antony edited the movie. Krishnaa is responsible for the script. The creators have not yet disclosed the official release date.
