Megastar Chiranjeevi’s fans are even more thrilled about the actor’s partnership with acclaimed filmmaker Anil Ravipudi. Mega157, the film’s provisional title, was just released. The filming will begin shortly. Star heroine Nayanthara’s role as the leading woman was formally confirmed by the producers today.
Anil Ravipudi’s announcement videos and marketing materials will be just as entertaining as his films. The director, who recently introduced his trademark fun and inventiveness to Mega157 with the success of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, created a delightful video to introduce Nayanthara as the leading heroine opposite Chiranjeevi.
Nayanthara is shown in the video talking to her employees in Telugu, dancing to classic Chiranjeevi songs while driving, reviewing her script, and even reenacting one of Chiru’s famous lines while grinning broadly. Director Anil Ravipudi joins her towards the end to formally announce the news. Mega157 is Nayanthara’s third film with Chiranjeevi, after she played important parts in Godfather and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
Anil Ravipudi’s artistic vision is highlighted by Nayanthara’s participation in this special promo, which is an uncommon sight in and of itself. He has created a unique part for her that is expected to be both novel and memorable. In the most recent promotional video, the filmmaker reiterated that Mega157 is being prepared for a Sankranthi 2026 release, utilising the legendary Megastar.
