The next Hotstar Specials series has now been revealed for Disney+ Hotstar, which is an amazing development. Acclaimed actor Vijay Sethupathi plays the lead in this film, which was made by M Manikandan, a National Award winner. The critically acclaimed superhits Kaaka Muttai, Aandavan Kattalai, and Kadaisi Vivasayi are among Manikandan’s best recognised works. One of Kollywood’s best actors, Vijay Sethupathi, will make his debut in a Tamil web series!
Expectations and excitement among fans are expected to increase thanks to the superhit collaboration between director M Manikandan and actor Vijay Sethupathy. Today, April 1, at Usilampatti, a puja marked the start of the new Hotstar Specials web series. Vijay Sethupathi posted a photo of it to Twitter along with the caption, “Glad to start my first web series in Tamil for @disneyplusHSTam, Directed by #MManikandan with an auspicious pooja”
The new film, which is being made by P Arumugakumar’s 7C’s Entertainment Pvt Ltd, will feature Shanmugasundaram’s cinematography and Rajesh Murugesan’s soundtrack. Immanuel Jackson is the project’s art director, and B Ajith Kumar is its editor. Ajayan K Adat will be in charge of the web series’ sound design, and Kavitha will be in charge of the costumes.
The last time we saw Vijay Sethupathi was in the Raj and DK television series Farzi, which debuted on Amazon Prime Video on February 10. In the key roles are Shahid Kapoor and Raashii Khanna. Also contributing to Jawan is VJS. Atlee is the film’s director. Later this year, Shah Rukh Khan will star in the masala action movie. It will be interesting to see if it helps VJS establish a presence in Bollywood.
